Taj Mahal Trip – A Guide Book

Posted by Admin on July, 16, 2020

Did you ever experience the charming look of Taj Mahal from the banks of River Yamuna? This historical monument of Agra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Without exploring the architectural mystery behind the love of Shah Jahan (the great Mughal emperor), you trip is incomplete!

From historical angle –
Emperor Shah Jahan devoted this architectural beauty to his wife and love of life Mumtaz Mahal, whose body is laid in this building. The entire structure is built with marble stones and it took 22+ years to get constructed. 22000 workers put their hard works in building this. Thus, words are not enough to explain the immortal beauty of Taj Mahal. One visit is not enough to explore the majesty of this construction. This is why various travel agencies offer separate tours in different seasons and times to provide a new angle of exploration to the tourists! In a hurry, you may also book Delhi Taj Mahal one day trip to get a quick refreshing tour of this majestic beauty.

Location –
Taj Mahal, the pride of India is situated in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, which is pretty close to the capital city Delhi. In fact, a Golden Triangle trip is incomplete without visiting Taj.
Best time to visit –
If you are pre-planning your trip to Taj Mahal, you can plan a visit here between November and February. This time Agra remains pleasant and romantic. Other times of the year, you will find it either too hot or rainy. But travelling at off-seasons can earn you some lucrative discounts.
And, once you are in Agra, you must witness the colour changing of Taj with the sunlight. An early morning visit is best to witness Taj Mahal at the sunrise. Also, the dawn time is revealing for its majestic appearance. But this time the building premise remains hugely crowded.
If possible you should also get a chance visiting this majestic beauty during full moon night (+ 2 days before and 2 days after).

How to reach?
You can book a Delhi Taj Mahal One day trip. Agra is well connected via roadways and railways to different parts of India, especially Delhi and Varanasi.
Yamuna Expressway has reduced the distance between Delhi and Agra. You can either hire a cab from Noida or Delhi to travel via this majestic roadway, or take government bus service. Bus is a safe and cheaper option to reach Agra in case train booking is not available.
Agra has three railway stations and Agra Cantt is the major of them. From Delhi, Shatabdi Express is the fastest one to reach Agra.
You can also fly to Agra from any other major cities of India.

Opening hours of Taj Mahal:
Taj Mahal becomes open for the visitors half an hour before sunrise and it gets closed around 6-7 PM at the evening, half an hour before sunset. It remains closed on Friday of every week. Also, Taj Mahal remains closed during Ramdan month and Holi of every year.

Conclusion:
I hope this article will definitely help you in planning a suitable trip to Taj Mahal, Agra. Happy journey!
