Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Meeting on arrival and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
Full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi, start with Jama Mosque, Red Fort from outside, Rajghat - Mahtma Gandhi’s cremation place, drive past through India Gate, President House, Rajpath, Government buildings. Later visit Qutab Minar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur : By Surface 265 Kms. 5 Hrs.
Morning drive to Jaipur, on arrival check-in at Hotel. In the evening pay a visit to Birla temple at the time of prayer ceremony. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber fort for an elephant ride to the glorious hilltop fortress. The afternoon tour of Jaipur will combine the City Palace, the Observatory, the Hawa Mahal and culminate in a unique Rajasthani dinner. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur - Agra : By Surface 240 Kms. 4.5 Hrs. + Sightseeing Tour of Fatehpur Sikri
Early morning drive to Agra through the countryside to the walled city of Fatehpur Sikri, built to commemorate the birth of Akbar's son. The complex was completed in 1574, but 14 years later the city was abandoned. Of particular interest are the Red stone mosques, courtyards and the palace where Akbar played chess using slave girls as pawns. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Visit Taj Mahal & Agra Fort (Taj Mahal remain closed on Fridays)
Day 6: Agra - Jhansi - Orchha
Agra - Jhansi : By Shatabdi Exp. At 0800 Hrs.
jhansi - Orchha : By Surface 15 Kms. 30 Minutes.
Transfer to the Railway station to board the train for Jhansi, meeting on arrival and transfer to the Hotel in Orchha. Later sightseeing tour of Orchha temples. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 7: Orcha - Khajuraho : By Surface 180 Kms. 4 Hrs.
Morning drive to Khajuraho, on arrival check-in at Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of temples. the sculptures of the temples of Khajuraho are ensconced in wall niches. Provocative maidens, dancers, musicians and embracing couples adorn these buildings of worship, which are masterpieces of Indian Art. Overnight in Khajuraho.
Day 8: Khajuraho - Varanasi: By Flight : By Flight
Transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Varanasi, meeting on arrival and transfer to the Hotel. This afternoon drive to Sarnath, south of Varanasi, to the spot where Budhha first preached over 2,000 years ago. The archaeological museum displays the Ashoka Pillar (264-226 B.C.), the emblem of independent India. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 9: Varanasi - Kathmandu : By Flight Operates Only On Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun
Rise early for a boat trip on the sacred river Ganga as the sun's first rays light up the mile-long stretch of 'Ghats' (steps) that lead into the waters of the river. Also visit Temples of the Varanasi. Later in time transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Kathmandu. Meeting on arrival and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 10: Kathmandu
Morning visit Darbar Square in Patan City, visting Krishna Temple, Golden Window, Rotal Bath, Mahabouddha and Golden Temple. Afternoon visit Darbar Square in Kathmandu, visting House of living Goddess Kumari, the ferocious Kal Bhairab, The Red Monkey God and hundred of erotic carvings, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 11: Kathmandu
Morning visit Swyambhunath and Pasupatinath Ji Temple, afternoon visit Boudhanath, the largest stupas in South Asia, this is best place to observe the Tibetan Life Style. To visit Kopan monastery, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Kathmandu
Day at leisure for independent activities. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 13: Kathmandu - Delhi : By flight
